Notice Description

SBC are currently seeking a suitable contractor for the GARAGE PORTFOLIO-REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE TERM CONTRACT Stevenage Borough Council "the Council" is responsible for routine maintenance of circa 6500 garage assets across the borough with an average of 630 repairs reported per year and circa 500 garages becoming void. The scope of work is to include Repairs, Maintenance and Planned Works for the Councils 6500 garages. The overall value of the contract is estimated at PS2.5m with the annual values broken down as follows: - Repairs PS350k pa - Planned works PS150k pa There is potentially an additional PS1.5m of planned works that could be added to the contract over the duration depending on budget availability. For example: - Replacement of cementitious roofs with asbestos content - Replacement of garage doors This is a 5 year term and is a JCT MTC 2024 contract. The aim of the engagement session is to convey a message to attendees that this contract will be a partnering approach and that the success of the contract will be how the collective deliver continuous improvement throughout.
