Worth Parish Council is currently engaging in the procurement process for the "Copthorne Recreation Ground Rejuvenation Project". This active tender, titled "Contract E - Civils Package 2", focuses on significant civil engineering works at the Copthorne Recreation Ground located in Copthorne, United Kingdom. Encompassing site preparation and construction work, the project aims to enhance the area with a new Multi-Use Games Area, extended playground, car park facilities, and comprehensive landscaping. The procurement process is in the tender stage, with an open competition method set below the threshold. Business entities interested in participating must submit their tenders via email by 2nd June 2025, following the enquiry period closing on 20th May 2025. This tender presents a compelling opportunity for businesses operating within the civil engineering and construction industry, particularly those with experience in public infrastructure projects. Firms specialising in site preparation and construction works, including parking and drainage systems, will be well-positioned to compete. The procurement favours businesses capable of demonstrating public liability coverage, previous experience, and compliance with health and safety standards. With a focus on fostering SME participation, this project is ideal for SMEs that can deliver competitive bids within the specified criteria, which include technical capability, pricing, and past project experience. You must provide all information requested and not assume that we have prior knowledge of any of your information. We actively seek to avoid conflicts of interest and reserve the right to reject tenderers as ineligible where we perceive an actual or potential conflict of interest. Please note, we reserve the right to exclude tenders with an abnormally high price or an abnormally low price (more than 25% above or below the average prices submitted)."
