The Furnished Scheme supports new Council tenants who are unable to furnish their homes due to personal or financial circumstances. The scheme provides essential furniture and appliances to eligible and low-income new tenants. A "one-stop" furniture and appliances provision service is required with all items ordered by Furnished Homes being delivered to the Furnished Homes warehouse on a specified delivery date - orders are sent weekly due to demand.
