Summary of the contracting process

The Post Office Limited, headquartered in London, is currently in the Tender Update stage of a procurement process for Combined Facilities Management Services. This contract involves a comprehensive range of responsibilities across various sites in the UK, including maintenance and compliance for facilities and equipment, such as HVAC systems, electrical and mechanical systems, and more. It also covers soft facilities management services like cleaning, waste management, and catering. The procurement process uses an open, competitive flexible procedure, and prospective suppliers can submit their tenders by 10th November 2025. Interested parties must register on the Post Office e-sourcing portal and complete a Pre-Selection Questionnaire for consideration.

For businesses, this tender represents an expansive opportunity to engage with a national entity, with a contract valued at up to £84.96 million over a five-year term, potentially extendable up to ten years. The scope of services required provides significant avenues for companies specialising in both hard and soft facilities management services to expand their footprint. It is particularly suitable for SMEs due to the inclusion of economic and technical suitability criteria within the selection process. Participating in such a robust procurement process not only increases business visibility but also opens paths for long-term partnerships and reliability recognition in the industry.
