Service Requirements include: * A linen hire service. * Processing (wash and finish) service for hired linen and/ or Participating Authority's owned linen. * Linen and laundry transportation (collection and delivery) service to and from Participating Authority site locations/ designated pick up and drop off points. * Express Service (collection, wash, finish, and return) for Participating Authority's owned linen where requested. * Any other product or service that is determined to be within scope of linen and laundry services

Planning Information

Cheshire and Merseyside ICS (the ICS) has engaged the services of HealthTrust Europe (HTE), to support in the renewal of Linen and Laundry Service contracts. The engagement will be conducted through meetings. Each supplier that has expressed an interest to take part in this pre-market engagement will receive a Supplier Briefing Pack which contains details of the Contracting Authorities in scope, overview of current position, current linen requirements, Agenda for the meeting and issues the Trusts intend to overcome through the resulting procurement. Suppliers will be invited to a meeting to present to stakeholders from the Contracting Authority and HealthTrust Europe. Date of Pre-Market Engagement Meetings: Wednesday 11th June 2025and Thursday 12th June 2025 Venue: TBC Time of Meetings: To be arranged directly with Supplier Representatives from the Trusts: This will include representatives from Procurement, Facilities and Linen Services across the Trusts. Representatives from the Supplier: No more than 2 representatives – names to be provided prior to arrival The engagement exercises aims to establish the following * Developing the authority’s requirements and approach to the procurement; * Designing a procedure, conditions of participation or award criteria; * Preparing the tender notice and associated tender documents; * Identifying suppliers that may be able to supply the goods, services or works required; * Identify likely contractual terms; and * Building capacity among suppliers in relation to the contract being awarded.
