NHS Health Checks
Notice Description
The NHS Health Check programme was established to help prevent heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and kidney disease. Patients aged 40 -74, who have not already been diagnosed with one of these conditions, are invited once every five years for a health check to assess their risk of developing CVD within the next 10 years. Patients will be given advice and support to help them reduce or manage the risk. Public Health South Tees (PHST) would like to contract with any and all GP Practices in the Middlesbrough area who are able to provide the government mandated NHS Health Check service to local residents.

Contracts awarded to eligible Providers to deliver NHS Health Check Services following the 'Direct Award Process B' as set out in the Health Care Services Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Regulations 2023. "Direct Award Process B" means the process set out in regulation 8 for the award of a contract without a competition.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.
