This procurement process is focused on goods within the community, social services, and medical aids categories. The location for this procurement is Oldbury, United Kingdom, under the jurisdiction of the sub-central government authority. The deadline for submitting questionnaires for this market engagement is scheduled for 10:00 hours on 2nd February 2026. The future notice for the procurement is anticipated to be published on 11th May 2026. This market engagement is not an official call for competition, but rather a tool to gather market insights, helping shape the upcoming procurement strategy.

This tender provides an opportunity for businesses that specialise in medical equipment and personal care products to collaborate with the Sandwell Council's Joint Equipment Stores. The initiative aims to enhance support services for Sandwell residents through timely and efficient delivery of essential living aids. This is an ideal opportunity for SMEs and VCSEs looking to expand their reach and integrate into a public procurement framework. The framework, which is anticipated to start in March 2027, will provide significant growth potential for businesses aligned with the public sector's demand for community equipment. Participating companies will gain visibility and credibility by working with a recognised public authority.
