Summary of the contracting process

The London Borough of Camden has announced a planning stage in their procurement process for the "Camden Rough Sleeping Hub," aiming to provide accommodation and support services to rough sleepers in Camden. This service falls under the social work services with accommodation category and is planned to be carried out within the region of United Kingdom UKI31. A key milestone is a market engagement online event scheduled on 14th July 2026. Interested suppliers can submit their interest to attend via email. The procurement process is in its planning phase, with a projected contract period beginning on 1st April 2027 and concluding on 31st March 2032. The estimated gross value of the contract is £4,200,000, with funding from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.

This tender presents substantial growth opportunities for businesses, particularly small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs) specialising in social services and accommodation. By engaging with the Camden Rough Sleeping Hub, businesses have the chance to contribute to a significant local social initiative, potentially winning a government-funded contract offering stable income over several years. Companies focused on homelessness solutions, social housing, or health and wellbeing support services are well-suited to compete for this tender. Participation in the initial market engagement can help businesses align their offerings with the project's goals, thus enhancing their chances for future contracts.
