    "description": "The Commissioner made the decision of directly awarding the incumbent provider East Berkshire Primary Care (EBPC) in accordance with the following five criteria outlined in Regulation (9) of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. * Quality and innovation * Value * Integration, collaboration, and service sustainability * Improving access, reducing health inequalities and facilitating choice * Social value It has been advised that East Berkshire Primary Care (EBPC) has the evidenced ability to deliver the activity required to meet service requirements within the required region and that can deliver to the tight timescale. A direct award to East Berkshire Primary Care (EBPC) would be appropriate and present the best value for the Commissioner in this circumstance. No declared conflicts or potential conflicts of interest were identified during the decision-making process. This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by 01st July 2025 . This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR. In 2023 the budget and commissioning responsibilities were transferred over to the PCNs who continued to commission the service with the same provider. In April 2025 the PCN served EBPC with 3 months' notice, they would no longer continue commissioning the service. Funding source is now with BCF and to ensure continuity and consistency in service are looking to Direct Award with a new contract for the year 2025/26 Frimley ICB has followed PSR Direct Award C for the contract to which this notice relates",

This Direct Award is for a continuation in this financial year and within which we would be looking for further integration and innovation in the delivery of the service with other partner organisations supporting rough sleepers in Slough. People who experience homelessness also experience significant health inequalities and this enhanced, targeted service is key in supporting this group access vital healthcare support, improve their health and life outcomes and their journey back into good mental and physical health, housing and employment. It works alongside and in collaboration with other agencies and organisations in Slough who are supporting homeless rough sleepers.",
