The general themes of the webinar include: MSSS 3m3 Box Overview Procurement Strategy Terms & Conditions Quality Requirements Social Impact Tendering Hints & Tips There have been several other documents and drawings issued alongside the webinar. Further to this, it is anticipated that the Terms and Conditions will be added to Atamis on Tuesday 7th April. Please take the time to review all of the information provided and if you have any questions, please ensure they are submitted by COP Friday 17th April. All questions will be collectively responded to prior to the tender being issued. "riskDetails": "The safe retrieval and storage of Intermediate Level Waste (ILW) from the Magnox Swarf Storage Silo, one of the highest hazard facilities on the NDA estate, relies on bespoke 3m3 ILW boxes and their skips, which are integrated with existing legacy site infrastructure and designed to meet stringent safety, storage, transport and final disposal requirements. In previous contracts for the supply of 3m3 boxes, the difficulty of the required design materialised during, and jeopardised the performance of, those contracts. All Lot contracts in this Procurement will embed a New Product Introduction process which enables a phased approach to design and manufacturing in an attempt to address this known risk. However, this known risk could still jeopardise the performance of the contract and necessitate modifications to the Lot contracts."
