Please see below, information regarding a technical event being held by University of Sheffield/AMRC & Sellafield Ltd on the 20th of January 2026 relating to the Sellafield 3m3 Waste Containers. This event is purely a technical discussion regarding design and prototype method of manufacture. As such, no tender/commercial information will be shared or discussed. The aim of this forum is to establish the strengths and potential concerns of the latest 3m3 box design, while also gaining a clear understanding of the manufacturing methods that can be deployed. There is a limited number of spaces available on the day and so we would suggest that no more than two representatives from each company attend to maximise benefit.
