Notice Description
The Trust intends to award a contract under NHS terms and conditions for provision of Sandwell Urgent Treatment Centre. The Centre will be operated under NHS national principles and standards [attached] as issued by NHS England in October 2023. The service is located at Sandwell Health Campus, Lyndon, West Bromwich, West Midlands B71 4HJ. It will treat minor illness and injury and be open from 8am to 11pm daily, 365 days per year. The service is accessible to all, irrespective of GP registration or local residency. The contract will commence service on 1st October 2025 for a period of one year with an option for a further one year extension. The funding envelope for the service is PS3,688,378pa at 2025/26 prices.

Procurement Information
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 1st August 2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR
