Specification for expert by experience EWG member: The Writing Group will be responsible for drafting and refining the Advanced Child Protection Practice Standards, drawing on input from the Reference Group, sector evidence, and policy priorities. The work will include: * Translating key themes and recommendations into clear, practical standards. * Ensuring the language is accessible, meaningful, and aligned with professional expectations. o Supporting consistency across the standards and alignment with existing frameworks and guidance. o The group will work closely with the Chief Social Worker and policy leads to ensure the standards are robust, deliverable, and ready for wider consultation. Description of the tasks: * Support the drafting of the standards for ACPP, feeding into discussions about the prioritisation and structure. * Provide insights on the standards for ACPP, drawing on CSC sector experience. * Contribute to the drafting, editing and finalisation of the standards for ACPP, based on stakeholder perspectives and insights, including the workforce, children, young people, families and carers. * Attend, present and contribute at ACPP consultation events * Act as a critical friend, ensuring strong alignment between the ACPP and the National Framework.
