        "procurementMethodRationale": "Our schools use a range of registered and non registered Alternative Provisions that offer support that is bespoke to a child's needs. Active Support caters for significant numbers of CLT students each year such that the total combined cost of the service across our schools is estimated at PS500k pa over the next three academic years 25/26 to 27/28. Within the range of providers that are available, the Trust schools commission Active Support's services because they are unique in that they fulfill all of the following specific quality criteria for certain students: Support learners aged between 9 years and 16 years Offers a broad and balanced curriculum that supplements the schools' curriculum offer. Offers full and part time places for young people struggling to cope in mainstream education due to complex, social, emotional and/or behavioural needs Is based in Bedfordshire Is accredited by LBC, BB and CB (our 3 LAs) Is at least Ofsted Good Is a registered school ie has a URN Employs qualified teachers Has a proven track record in providing support over at least the past ten years Is capable of offering 40+ places",
