Summary of the contracting process

The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), based in London, is planning a procurement process for "Salary Benchmarking and Rewards Advisory Services," aiming to attract, motivate, and retain high-calibre staff and governance members. The procurement is in the planning stage with a tender notice expected in October 2025 on the Find a Tender Service via the Delta eSourcing platform. The GPhC has scheduled a submission deadline for interested suppliers by 8 September 2025, with the tender period ending on 24 October 2025. The procurement method is open competition, below threshold, meaning it encourages a wide range of businesses to participate. This tender falls under various industry categories such as business management consultancy and market research services, and the project value is estimated at £70,000, with the initial contract set from January 2026 to January 2028, offering a potential renewal up to 2030.

This tender provides significant opportunities for SMEs and VCSEs engaged in business consultancy, market analysis, and management-related services to expand their business and serve a vital role within the health and social care sector. Companies with expertise in salary benchmarking, remuneration frameworks, and advisory support will find this tender particularly suitable to demonstrate their skills in facilitating competitive compensation structures. Businesses that can provide comprehensive market insights and have experience in conducting surveys and analyses would be well-positioned to compete for this contract. Engaging with the GPhC could establish long-term relationships and open pathways to further collaboration within public sector health projects.
