This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice (via Direct Award C). BNSSG ICB is re-commission a Provider for the Community Vasectomy Service for patients presenting in General Practice. The service will need to provide pre-vasectomy counselling, vasectomy procedure under local anaesthetic & post vasectomy testing.

BNSSG ICB is re-commission a Provider for the Community Vasectomy Service for patients presenting in General Practice. The service will need to provide pre-vasectomy counselling, vasectomy procedure under local anaesthetic & post vasectomy testing. The Commissioner is directly awarding a contract to the existing provider Hanham Health in accordance with the criteria outlined in Regulation (9) of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The total value of the contract is PS2,670,365.50 for a 5.5-year contract length. There will be the option of a two-year extension period included in the contract. The initial 5.5-year period will commence on 1st October 2025.
Options: There is the option to extend the contract by two years. This option will be included in the contract.
Procurement Information
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023 (Consequential and Other Amendments) Regulations 2025 (PA 2023) do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to bnssg.communitycontracts@nhs.net by midnight on 19th September 2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
