Notice Description

Kent County Council (KCC) wishes to inform the market of its intention to extend the current Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for a maximum period of 9 months. The purpose of the Service is to provide accommodation, care, support and stimulation to those people in the client group for whom it is not appropriate, either in the short or longer term, to live in their own homes. The Service Providers should offer Residents the opportunity to enhance their quality of life by providing a safe, manageable and comfortable home environment.

This is an extension of the above mentioned contract. The purpose of the Service is to provide accommodation, care, support and stimulation to those people in the client group for whom it is not appropriate, either in the short or longer term, to live in their own homes. The Service Provider should offer Residents the opportunity to enhance their quality of life by providing a safe, manageable and comfortable home environment. Additional information: This DPS is being run under the Light Touch Regime, Chapter 3, regulations 73-76 of PCR 2015. The value quoted in II.1.7 is for the contract extension period of 9 months only.

Procurement Information

Kent County Council is hereby notifying the market of its intention to extend the current Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for a maximum period of 9 months. The DPS is being extended whilst we assess market conditions and capability prior to issuing a replacement Agreement, to allow the ability for people who draw on care and support to continue to access the services required.
