Summary of the contracting process

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust established a framework for health and social work services supporting NHS patient care. The scope covers falls prevention, post-fall rehabilitation and recovery, or a combination of these services. Falls prevention aims to reduce the likelihood of falls; rehabilitation and recovery services support people after a fall. The framework is intended for use by Relevant Authorities and covers delivery across England and Wales. Five providers were awarded to the falls prevention service area: Everyone Health Ltd, Homelink Healthcare Limited, iCareiMove Limited, Pure Physiotherapy and Thrive Tribe Limited. Homelink Healthcare Limited also received a further award with no service area stated. The five initial contracts were signed on 10 December 2025; the further contract was signed on 3 September 2026. This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The aim of this Framework is to provide Relevant Authorities with fully compliant solutions which supplement the delivery of patient care by Relevant Authorities in line with the NHS' core Key Performance Indicators and standards. This Framework will be formed of three Lots: Lot 1 - Falls prevention services Lot 2 - Post fall rehabilitation and recovery services Lot 3 - Combination of all services This is a Framework under The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 and The Health Services (Provider Selection Regime) (Wales) Regulations 2025 In accordance with Regulation 17 of The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 and Regulation 17 of The Health Services (Provider Selection Regime) (Wales) Regulations 2025, the Framework will be open to applications from new potential Providers during the Term of the Framework. Previously appointed Providers are NOT obliged to re-apply. Further 'Intention to Award' notices will be published as and when new Providers are appointed

Falls Prevention Services are services which are delivered to prevent the chance of a fall.

Options: In accordance with Regulation 17 of The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 and Regulation 17 of The Health Services (Provider Selection Regime) (Wales) Regulations 2025, the Framework will be open to applications from new potential Providers during the Term of the Framework.

Renewal: The Framework may be renewed. If the Framework is renewed, the opportunity will be advertised in line with applicable regulations.

Post fall rehabilitation and recovery services

Post fall rehabilitation and recovery services.

Options: In accordance with Regulation 17 of The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 and Regulation 17 of The Health Services (Provider Selection Regime) (Wales) Regulations 2025, the Framework will be open to applications from new potential Providers during the Term of the Framework.

Combination of all services

All Tenderers who are awarded to Lot 1 and 2 of the Framework will be awarded onto Lot 3.
