Summary of the contracting process

The Corporate Officer of the House of Commons, in conjunction with the Corporate Officer of the House of Lords, is seeking to procure a new ticketing solution through a Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) approach. The procurement initiative, currently in the planning stage, aims to facilitate tours and events at the UK Parliament. Falling under the services category, this procurement invites participation from interested suppliers in a market engagement event scheduled for 11th or 12th November 2025. The event might be held either in person at the Parliamentary estate or remotely, with the deadline to register by 14:00hrs on 24th October 2025. The budget is estimated between £500,000 to £1,000,000, and the contract period is anticipated to commence on 11th January 2027 and potentially extend until 12th January 2032.

This procurement presents a substantial opportunity for businesses specialising in information systems and technology strategic planning, as well as information technology services. Companies that can provide robust online and onsite ticketing solutions, along with support, hosting, and integration options, especially those catering to both small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs), will find this tender particularly suited to their capabilities. This initiative supports businesses in enhancing their profile through partnership with a prestigious national institution, potentially increasing their credibility and visibility in the sector.
