Summary of the contracting process

Kent County Council has initiated a public procurement process seeking proposals for a pilot programme titled "SN250527 - RFQ - Pilot Level 1 Parent Infant Relationship (PIR) Intervention". The procurement is within the health and social work industry category and is located in the Maidstone area of the United Kingdom. The process is currently in the tender stage with relevant deadlines, including an enquiry period ending on 12th November 2025, and a tender submission deadline on 21st November 2025. This open competition aims to contract services with a gross value of £87,884, compliant with the UKPGA 2023/54 legal basis.

This tender offers significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in health and social services, particularly those capable of providing non-clinical interventions for parent-infant bonding. Organisations with expertise in delivering creative group sessions, facilitated discussions, and one-to-one support can leverage this opportunity. Given the universal nature of the programme aimed at families with infants up to two years old, businesses that can innovate in early child development and parental support stand to benefit and potentially become the preferred supplier by offering competitive pricing and meeting the quality criteria. This opportunity is suitable for SMEs and voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations interested in expanding their footprint in public sector child and family services.
