Summary of the contracting process

Post Office Limited is actively seeking to establish a Supply Chain Consultancy Framework aimed at supporting strategic transformation within the UK cash processing and distribution sector. Situated in London, the procurement is categorised under business and management consultancy services and is currently in the tender stage. Interested parties have until 8th April 2026 to submit their proposals, with the tender offering consultancy services in governance, commercial modelling, partnership structuring, and operational optimisation. The competitive procedure expects suppliers to demonstrate profound expertise in UK Wholesale Cash and secure logistics, coupled with market innovation. The framework intends to accommodate flexible call-offs and strategic consultancy, aligning with the organisation's growth objectives.

This opportunity presents significant growth prospects for consultancy firms specialising in secure logistics and market innovation, particularly those with a focus on SMEs. The open procurement method employed facilitates broad participation and potential engagement with the Post Office's transformation initiatives. The framework offers a robust platform for businesses to engage with key strategic challenges in the cash ecosystem, providing a pathway to establish long-term collaborations. The initiative not only aims to optimise the operational facets of processes but also to structure commercial partnerships effectively, making it ideal for firms with considerable technical and professional capabilities in these areas. Businesses will benefit from engaging deeply with the strategic aims outlined in the ITT documents, accessible through the Post Office's eSourcing portal.
