Summary of the contracting process

Post Office Limited is planning a procurement process for a Supply Chain Consultancy Framework, aimed at supporting strategic transformation within their operations. This process, tagged under the planning stage, seeks to engage with suppliers who have significant expertise in UK Wholesale Cash, secure logistics, and market innovation. The procurement method will employ an open, competitive, and flexible procedure, estimated at a gross value of £15,000,000. Aimed at the business and management consultancy services category, this opportunity is designated for the United Kingdom. The tender period is estimated to close on 5 January 2026, with the award expected by 29 January 2026. Prospective contracts are slated to begin on 11 February 2026 and conclude on 10 February 2030.

This tender offers substantial growth possibilities for businesses specialising in consultancy services pertinent to supply chain management and related fields. SMEs are particularly encouraged to participate, as the framework envisions a flexible mechanism for calling off consultancy services, encompassing governance, commercial modelling, partnership structuring, and operational optimisation. The procurement process allows for up to three suppliers within the framework, creating opportunities for both robust competition and collaboration among selected vendors. Businesses with strong capabilities in strategic consultancy and innovation within the cash processing and distribution sectors will find this tender especially appealing. Participating in this engagement can elevate firms' profiles while providing a stable long-term partnership with a well-established public entity.
