Notice Information
Notice Title
Drug and Alcohol Related Deaths Management System and associated services
Notice Description
A Drug and Alcohol Related Deaths (DARD) information management system is required. The specification for the DARD system consists of two main components: an online portal and access to specialist support. The portal must allow secure collaboration among organisations involved in partnership DARD reviews, enabling them to contribute to a shared record that provides a comprehensive view of an individual's circumstances prior to death. It should be capable of integrating with the Coroner's office to receive inquest reports, offer flexible permission settings for different user levels, and notify panel members when new cases are added. Additionally, it should include a dashboard with summary graphs, generate automated PDF case reports, export data to CSV for analysis, and facilitate data exchange with neighbouring authorities' systems. The support element involves ongoing liaison with coroners and other stakeholders to ensure appropriate information sharing agreements are in place. It also includes generating case reports and presentation materials for review meetings, delivering training to relevant service contributors, collecting and validating death data from agencies across Lancashire, and supporting data quality efforts to maintain high standards of information within the system.
