Summary of the contracting process

Kent County Council is currently in the planning stage for a procurement concerning the development of a Domestic Abuse Referral Hub (DARH). This project falls under the "Health and social work services" industry category and is located in the UK, specifically within the UKJ4 region. Two virtual engagement sessions are scheduled to take place on 25th and 27th November 2025, offering interested parties an opportunity to provide feedback. The preliminary market engagement notice was published on 31st October 2025, and interested organisations have until 14th November 2025 to register their interest. The procurement process will adhere to the Procurement Act 2023 and aims to formally launch a tender at a later date.

This tender offers substantial growth opportunities, especially for businesses specialised in health and social work services. The prospective Domestic Abuse Referral Hub is crucial for organisations keen to expand into public sector contracts focused on domestic abuse services. Enterprises with a strong experience in referral, assessment, and training functions related to both survivor and professional support in domestic abuse contexts would be well-suited to compete. Companies can increase their chances of securing future opportunities by engaging in early dialogue through the scheduled sessions and by creating a supplier profile on the Kent Business Portal. The total contract value is estimated at £500,000, indicating a significant opportunity for substantial business involvement.
