Summary of the contracting process

Kent County Council is currently in the planning phase of a procurement process titled "Community Wellbeing Services," aimed at commissioning innovative services for older people, individuals with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and dementia. The services are focused on promoting health and wellbeing, increasing independence, and reducing the need for additional care. The procurement category falls under health and social work services and is designed to align with the Kent County Council Adult Social Care Prevention Framework from 2025 to 2035. The process is above the threshold with a total gross value of £21.9 million. Stakeholders and interested businesses are invited to participate in engagement events scheduled between 1st and 11th December 2025, with locations across East, West, and North Kent, as well as virtual sessions via Microsoft Teams. The deadline for engagement registration is 26th November 2025.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in health and social care services, particularly those with a focus on elderly care, sensory impairments, and dementia support. Companies with innovative solutions for these demographics that can demonstrate expertise in proactive health initiatives, increasing client independence, and service innovation will find this tender particularly beneficial. The tender's planning stage offers an opportunity for businesses to influence future service designs and establish partnerships with Kent County Council.
