Northern Trains Limited (NTL) will be going to market for the procurement of Station Painting and Platform Lining across our network of train stations. These contracts form part of our commitment to providing customer-focused, professionally managed, and high-quality service that supports our long-term maintenance objectives. The scope of services will be delivered with the aim of meeting performance and customer satisfaction requirements while ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory and mandatory legislation. Suppliers will be expected to apply Best Industry Practice, alongside their expertise and experience, to meet the following key objectives: * Deliver effective services that meet high-quality standards and demonstrate value for money. * Offer flexible service delivery tailored to the specific needs of each location. * Create a safe and comfortable environment for all station users. * Maintain assets in line with current statutory and regulatory legislation, as well as manufacturer's guidance, to ensure maximum longevity. Northern Trains Limited ('NTL') is seeking early engagement with interested Suppliers ahead of launching two separate tendering activities: Station Painting Contract Platform Lining Contract A virtual Pre Market Engagement session will take place on the 27th of November 2025 at 10:00am via Microsoft Teams. This session will include a presentation from the Project Manager and Procurement Team, outlining the scope of the upcoming procurements and key requirements. The Market Engagement session will cover both contracts, and it is recommended for Suppliers to attend the session even if they are only interested in one. The session will provide insight into the following areas: - Specification - Locations - Procurement Timelines NTL will also seek feedback on: - Contracting Model - Subcontracting - Pricing Structure - Commercial Terms Following the session, attending suppliers will receive a short questionnaire to gather feedback on the proposed approach. NTL may subsequently invite selected participants to one-to-one virtual meetings in December 2025 to discuss feedback in more detail. These sessions aim to gather additional input on the proposed contract, commercial terms, and tender process, as well as address any key issues raised. Invitations will be issued at NTL's sole discretion.
