The Services to which this procurement relates fall within Schedule 3 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015, as amended. As such, the Authority does not intend to hold itself bound by any of the Regulations, save those applicable to Schedule 3 Services. Owing to the nature of the Services the Authority requires providers who are in close proximity to its patient cohort. Within the geographical boundaries covered by the Authority there is an absence of competition for the services and the Authority has therefore negotiated contracts with the providers technically capable of providing the services.
