Summary of the contracting process

This public procurement process is initiated by Plymouth Community Homes Limited, a sub-central government public authority located in Plymouth, United Kingdom. The procurement is currently in the planning stage and is focused on acquiring Electronic Payment and Income Systems. The initiative falls within the services category, specifically financial consultancy and transaction processing services. Key dates include a scheduled engagement milestone for expressions of interest by 1st December 2025. The procurement will lead to a contract expected to start on 9th November 2026 and potentially extend until 2032, with an estimated value of £1.2 million.

This tender provides an excellent opportunity for businesses specialising in financial technology and transaction systems to offer their innovations and solutions. With the focus on card payments, direct debits, and income management systems, companies offering PCI compliant solutions, payment processing, and integration capabilities with housing management systems will be particularly well-suited. Additionally, the preliminary market engagement phase invites input from suppliers, allowing companies to showcase their developments and tailor offerings to meet the specific requirements of Plymouth Community Homes and its customers. Small and medium-sized enterprises are encouraged to participate, making this a fertile ground for business growth and establishing long-term partnerships.
