Summary of the contracting process

Transport for London (TfL) is currently in the planning stage of a new procurement initiative titled "Supply of Pneumatic Components," aimed at procuring essential components for the LUL 73TS Piccadilly Line, 92TS Central Line, and 96TS Jubilee Line train fleets. This initiative falls under the industry category of railway and tramway locomotives and rolling stock and associated parts, with the procurement classified as goods within the utilities special regime. Interested suppliers are invited to participate in a Preliminary Market Engagement process, with crucial documents available upon request before the deadline of 1st December 2025. The document will help identify potential suppliers capable of meeting the specified requirements for the components listed. The intended contract period spans from 1st August 2026 to 30th July 2031, with the procurement value estimated at GBP 1,020,000 gross.

This procurement offers businesses an opportunity to establish long-term supply relationships with a prominent public authority, Transport for London. It is particularly suitable for suppliers with expertise in manufacturing or distributing pneumatic systems and components, such as hoses, filters, valves, regulators, seals, and pipework fittings. Organisations capable of meeting rigorous quality standards and possessing the capacity for sustained delivery volumes will find this tender particularly advantageous. Engaging in this tender can enhance business profiles, expand market presence within the transport sector, and align with significant infrastructure projects across London's public transportation network.
