The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham is actively seeking tenders for the provision of a stray dogs service across the borough. This procurement process, categorised under ‘other community, social and personal services’, is currently in the tender stage, with a submission deadline set for 19th December 2025. The contract will commence on 1st May 2026 and run through 30th April 2028, with potential extensions up to April 2030. Business entities are invited to submit their tenders via an open competition, accessible through the specified tender portal. The estimated contract value is set at £120,000 net annually, with gross provisions up to £144,000.

Companies with expertise in handling, kennelling, and caring for stray animals, alongside proficiency in customer service and complaint resolution, will find this contract lucrative. The contract will be awarded based on a combination of quality and price, with a heavier emphasis on quality, accounting for 60% of the assessment. This process is ideal for firms that can demonstrate high standards of animal welfare, compliance with legislation, and added-value services such as microchipping and promotion, ensuring comprehensive community service within the London borough.
