    "description": "- This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Intention to Award Notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to<br/>the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The publication of this notice marks the start<br/>of the Standstill Period. The contract has not yet<br/>been formally awarded, this should notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.<br/>- the relevant authority's governance group is making the award decision<br/>- the award of the contract is to be made to the existing provider The Confederation, Hillingdon CIC;<br/>- the relative importance of the key criteria used to make a decision, the rationale for the relative importance of the key criteria and the rationale for choosing the provider with reference to the 5 key criteria areas are as follows:<br/>Relative importance number 1: Improving access, reducing health inequalities, facilitating choice<br/>Rationale: all services need to address health inequity and improve access to care, it is at the heart of our strategy as an ICB<br/>Rationale chosen: The PICC Clinic aims to ensure that patients have access to essential care whilst also reducing inequalities, the provider addresses these issues in various ways:<br/><br/>Relative importance number 2: Integration, collaboration and service sustainability<br/>Rationale: it is important service sits in wider context of the health system and supports wider sustainability this is scored as some aspects of this are indirect to patient care.<br/>Rationale chosen supplier: contract management, reporting and requirements have been met. Evidence of improved access to primary care for CYP.<br/><br/>Relative importance number 3: Quality<br/>and innovation<br/>Rationale: gains understanding service performance and delivery, this is an important component of assurance of good quality care to our patients.<br/>Rationale for chosen supplier: Standard Operating Procedures in place, KPIs met.<br/><br/>Relative importance number 4: Value<br/>Rationale: important for understanding value for money, this is core part of commissioning and given wider pressures on NHS it's key all contracts provide good value<br/>Rationale for chosen supplier: positive patient feedback, cost savings, upskilling and building relationships <br/><br/>Relative importance number 5: Social Value<br/>Rationale: is important to determine across all contracts but is an indirect way of measuring service<br/>Rationale for chosen supplier: climate emergency and a sustainability lead appointed, enrolled on the Royal College of General Practitioners Green Impact for Health Toolkit. <br/><br/>- no declared or potential conflicts of interest of individuals making the decision have been identified.",
