Summary of the contracting process

The Royal Borough of Greenwich is currently in the tender update stage of its procurement process for the NextGen Youth services. The initiative seeks to commission innovative youth services aimed at children and young people between the ages of 5-19, and up to 25 years for those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Located in the London SE18 region of the United Kingdom, the programme aims to deliver accessible and inclusive services that promote positive outcomes and personal development. The procurement is being conducted through an open procedure, with a submission deadline extended to 22nd April 2026 by 16:00 hours. The contract is expected to commence on 1st October 2026 and is set to last until 30th September 2031, with a potential extension until 31st October 2035.

This tender offers substantial growth opportunities for businesses in the health and social work services industry category, specifically those that are adept at delivering inclusive and high-quality youth services. The project is perfectly suited for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) looking to expand their operations within the London area. Providers with a track record of fostering positive community impact, managing youth support initiatives, or possessing expertise in SEND are encouraged to participate. Engaging in this procurement allows businesses to contribute to a borough-wide initiative focused on prevention, early intervention, and supporting children and youths to achieve their full potential, thereby enhancing their portfolio and community standing.
