To ensure patients starting tirzepatide (Mounjaro(r)) receive holistic, person-centred care that includes Behavioural Support for Obesity Prescribing (BSOP) commissioed by NHSE (Lambeth) Being awarded as any delay to the award would significantly extend the timeline for the nationally mandated Mounjaro rollout, with attendant risks to the health of the eligible cohort.

To ensure patients starting tirzepatide (Mounjaro(r)) receive holistic, person-centred care that includes Behavioural Support for Obesity Prescribing (BSOP) commissioed by NHSE. Being awarded as any delay to the award would significantly extend the timeline for the nationally mandated Mounjaro rollout, with attendant risks to the health of the eligible cohort. Additional information: This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Award decision makers: South East London Integrated Care Board There were no conflict of interest identified in the decision making process. An urgent award or modification is to be made by the relevant authority as the following are true: * The award or modification must be made urgently. * The reason for the urgency was not foreseeable by and is not attributable to the relevant authority. * Delaying the award to conduct a full application of the PSR would be likely to pose a risk to patient or public safety. Urgent award is required as any delay to the award would significantly extend the timeline for the nationally mandated Mounjaro rollout, with attendant risks to the health of the eligible cohort.
