Relevant experience included developing services that reduce patients’ need to attend hospital to collect medicines and support care closer to home. Suppliers also had to demonstrate compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements for outpatient pharmacy operation and accept the Trust’s minimum KPI standards. Financial suitability included confirming financial stability, disclosing material liabilities or anticipated adverse changes, and accepting possible requirements for a parent company guarantee and performance bond.
