Notice Description
Provision of temporary accommodation for households experiencing housing crises to meet urgent housing needs of local residents which is why it is being direct awarded. This direct award is for the provision and management of 209 properties with the Brighton and Hove area. We intend to issue a tender for the remainder of the housing provision during 2026.
Procurement Information
These properties are physically located within the Brighton area and are in many cases already occupied. The direct award of the contract to the existing supplier will ensure that the current housing management arrangements will continue for the benefit of the residents in the affected properties. Any change in service provision would result in difficulties with the operation of contract to the detriment of residents.
