Summary of the contracting process

The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime appointed a training provider for the Community Scrutiny Transformation Programme. The service is to design and deliver practical, accessible training for volunteer community scrutineers and Metropolitan Police Service officers. The awarded contract period runs from 1 December 2026 to 30 November 2028, with an option to extend for up to one further year, to 30 November 2029. Bidders were evaluated on quality weighted at 70% and price at 30%. The tender deadline was 6 July 2026 at midday, following an amendment from 22 June, and the enquiry period ended on 15 June 2026 at midday. Contract signature was scheduled by 28 September 2026.
