Summary of the contracting process

The public procurement process initiated by the Greater Manchester Education Trust (GMET) for the "Provision of KS3 and KS4 Onsite Alternative Provision" was ultimately cancelled on 30th June 2026. Notice Description

Greater Manchester Education Trust (herein referred to as ("GMET" or "the Trust") has a procurement requirement for the delivery and operation of an on-site Alternative Provision ("AP") at The East Manchester Academy (TEMA). The aim is to support pupils at risk of exclusion or those who require a more tailored educational environment to re-engage with learning and improve outcomes. The proposed contract will commence 01.08.26 with delivery start 01.09.26 - please see the Tender Guidance document available within the tender pack available for download (free of charge) from https://www.in-tendhost.co.uk/educationportal/aspx/Home
