A market engagement event is scheduled online via Microsoft Teams, set to take place on 16th April 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. The deadline to register is midday on 15th April 2026. This event aims to inform providers of the Council's vision for a service focusing on those at risk of loneliness and long-term mental health conditions. The actual tender opportunity will likely be published in Spring 2026, inviting providers to deliver services that empower individuals to live independently at home longer.

The upcoming tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in health, social work, and community services. With a strengths-based, person-centred approach at its core, this tender invites small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs) to deliver innovative services across the Bournemouth region. The focus on long-term condition prevention and social connectivity is aligned with priorities like the BCP Adult Social Care Prevention Strategy, making it a robust opportunity for organisations poised to enhance community wellbeing and independence.
