This contract falls under the rehabilitation and pharmacy services category, adhering to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. This contract, valued at £403,500, is set to commence on 1st April 2026 and conclude on 31st March 2029. Pharmacies capable of providing enhanced services under the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework, specifically those involving supervised consumption and needle exchange, could greatly benefit. This contract allows for voluntary participation based on localised needs, making it well-suited for businesses adept at catering to health-related community services. The focus on patient choice and service quality as award criteria suggests that businesses prioritising customer care and efficient service delivery will have an edge in this procurement process.
