The modification extends the existing Call-Off contract term from 31 March 2026 to 31 August 2026 to ensure continuity of essential Dial-a-Ride support and Capital Call services while a replacement procurement is progressed. "rationale": "Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee: This modification is made under Regulation 72(1)(c) PCR 2015 due to circumstances that a diligent contracting authority could not have foreseen. London Councils extended its parallel Call-Off without prior consultation, creating an unforeseen misalignment of end dates. As the original Framework has now expired and no extension options remain available, a time-limited modification is required to maintain continuity of essential services for vulnerable users while the new procurement is completed. The modification does not alter the overall nature of the contract."
