Notice Description

The scope of this Procurement is Funeral Services for deceased patients who do not have a next of kin to organise their funeral. The contract also includes the cost of funerals following miscarriage and stillbirth and the transporting of deceased between hospital sites. The BCA (Black Country Alliance) Procurement department will be undertaking this exercise on behalf of both The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust and Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trust. The anticipated contractual period is an initial 3 year duration with the option to extend for a further 2 periods of up to 12 months each.

Lot Information

Lot 1 - Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trust

The BCA (Black Country Alliance) Procurement department will be undertaking this exercise on behalf of both The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust and Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trust. This Lot is specifically for Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trust. Suppliers shall submit an individual response to each lot being tendered for; individual documents applicable to each lot have been supplied in separate folders uploaded to the portal. The agreement is for a funeral service provision, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and 365 days per year.

Renewal: potential for two (2) periods of up to twelve (12) months each in Contract extension periods by election of the Contracting Authority, on such notice and for such periods as is specified by the Contract.
