The proposal is to commission an externally delivered Kent Young Carers Service which provides young carers aged 5-24 an assessment and tailored support, and information, advice and guidance that works to mitigate the disadvantages that can impact children and young people with a caring responsibility.

This Virtual Market Engagement Event will take place on Wednesday 24 June 2026, from 12:30 to 14:30 via Microsoft Teams. This will be an opportunity for potential providers to ask questions about the draft specification for the Young Carers Service, the procurement activity and any other relevant considerations. Potential suppliers who wish to attend the event are invited to express their interest by booking a place using the link: https://forms.office.com/e/jdfxktPzpk Further tender activities and clarifications will be managed via the Kent Business Portal/Delta Platform: https://www.kentbusinessportal.org.uk/ Please note that the Kent Business Portal system provider has recently changed from Proactis to Delta. To ensure continued access to Kent County Council procurement opportunities and communications, all potential suppliers must register on the Delta platform, which now serves as the underlying system for the Kent Business Portal.
