UKRI-6054 - R&D MAP - Evaluation Framework PME

Notice Description

As part of UKRI's evolving portfolio, we are delivering the Research and Development Missions Accelerator Programme (R&D MAP), a PS500m major flagship multi year initiative initially launched mid-2025 with a full launch in April 2026 is designed to align research, development and innovation with the UK Government's national missions. UKRI and the R&D MAP team(s) wish to procure an overarching evaluation framework for R&D MAP incl. of the five missions and their individual challenges, an overarching baseline report incl. of the five missions and their individual challenges, and process evaluation of the delivery and implementation of R&D MAP (at programme level i.e., internal mechanisms) and at individual challenge-level for niche and/or nuanced activities, an in-flight/real time progress reports, and five mission-specific interim impact evaluations. This is part of ongoing work to build a strong evidence base to understand the effectiveness and impact obtained through the R&D MAP's interventions.
