Notice Description

Yorkshire Water Services (YWS) intends to establish a structured, multi-supplier Reactive Operational Support Framework to support operational sites across the Yorkshire Water estate. The framework will provide access to reactive operational support services during unplanned operational scenarios, temporary operational shortfalls, and emergency requirements. The scope will include equipment hire, skilled and unskilled labour provision, and fuel supply to support operational continuity and site resilience. The arrangement is intended to provide operational flexibility, improve governance and visibility of reactive support spend, and establish a consistent approach to reactive operational support across Yorkshire Water sites.

Equipment hire

- Covers the provision of temporary operational equipment to support reactive operational requirements, emergency scenarios, and short-term operational shortfalls across Yorkshire Water sites. - Includes equipment categories such as mobile centrifuges, conveyors, excavators, mini diggers, telehandlers, loadalls, compressors, road sweepers, tower lights, tractors & trailers, and other operational equipment where required. - Includes delivery, collection, mobilisation, and fuel provision where applicable to the hired equipment.

Renewal: The duration of the proposed Contract Opportunity is an initial term of 24 months, with the option to extend for a further three periods of 12 months each (1+1+1), subject to Yorkshire Water's operational requirements and performance review.
