Notice Description

Derry City and Strabane District Council operate and maintains a diverse range of facilities and equipment across its Estate and wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Firm to who shall provide Services in accordance with the minimum standards defined in ACOP L8 The Control of Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems [L8] and HSG 274 Part 2. Facilities include Tier 1 Leisure Facilities including pools, Community Centres used by all sections of the community including those considered at higher risk to legionella in consideration of age, underlying conditions including a range of other Facilities and vehicles from the Fleet Department. Etc. The purpose of this preliminary market engagement (PME) is to gather insights and feedback from the market to inform the development of the procurement strategy and specification for the monitoring and maintenance of a Water Management System to include undertaking Legionella Written Control Schemes, Water Safety Policy, Risk Assessments, Monitoring Procedures and Cleaning and Descaling of all outlets inc. Cold Water Storage Tan, Remedial works, Planned Upgrades etc.. to ensure that the most efficient and effective methods of procurement are considered. **PLEASE NOTE: ALL COMPLETED QUESTIONNAIRES MUST BE SUBMITTED VIA THE eTendersNI PortaI.*** Respondees are not required to wait until the closing date to submit a response.
