Summary of the contracting process

The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority is seeking a single supplier to support and manage its University Research Programme and wider university interactions. The service covers developing and delivering the programme, establishing and managing research contracts with universities, monitoring the impact of the NDA’s university research and PhD portfolio, providing industrial supervision for PhD students, supporting communications, and strengthening capability in targeted areas. This is a research and related consultancy service (CPV 73000000) delivered across the United Kingdom. The framework may also be used by Sellafield Ltd, Nuclear Waste Services Ltd, Nuclear Restoration Sites Ltd, International Nuclear Services Ltd and Direct Rail Services Ltd.
