Notice Description
Nottingham City Council sought to commission an experienced provider to deliver an integrated 0 to 19 public health service, comprising of health visiting of 0 to 5 year olds and school nursing for 5 to 19 (to 25 for those with SEND and care leavers) year olds. The service will be universal and will also deliver targeted and specialist provision, covering all children and young people within the Nottingham City Council boundary (approximately 87,001 aged 0 to 19).

Lot 1
This notice is an intention to award a contract under the competitive process under Regulation 11 of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. This is the recommissioning of an existing service and the intention to award is to an existing provider. The Contract will start on 1 April 2027 and will be for an initial period of 5 years until 31 March 2032. There are two potential extensions which will be exercised at the Authority's sole discretion, on a 3 year plus 2 year basis until 31 March 2037. The service will be required to deliver a health visiting service (0-5) and a school nurse service (5-19 or up until 25 for care leavers and SEND) and will offer a universal, targeted and specialist provision for all children and young people within Nottingham City boundary (approximately 87,001). The maximum total contract value will be up to PS135,271,039.
Options: Two extensions of up to five (5) years in total on a three (3) plus two (2) basis at the Authority's sole discretion.
Renewal: Option to extend at the Authority's discretion for two further periods up to a total of 5 years, on a 3 year + 2 year basis, until 31 March 2037
