Summary of the contracting process

East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust intends to procure a specialist digital weight-management service for integration into its Complex Obesity Service. The service will support delivery of GLP-1 medication pathways through multidisciplinary and non-multidisciplinary models, covering complex obesity care and associated specialist health services. The digital service is expected to be NICE approved and to operate as part of the Trust’s wider clinical pathway. Delivery will support the Trust’s services in the East Suffolk and North Essex area, with the buying organisation based at Colchester District General Hospital.
