Notice Description
The contract supports delivery of the Warm Homes Network (WHN) programme, a collaborative initiative designed to support customers in vulnerable situations and improve carbon monoxide safety outcomes. The supplier will act as the lead delivery partner for energy efficiency advice and support services across participating networks. Services include: Delivery of tailored energy efficiency advice and assessments. Identification of suitable energy-saving interventions. Referrals into other Warm Homes Network support services where additional needs are identified. Support for vulnerable customers requiring assisted onboarding. Provision of carbon monoxide awareness and Priority Services Register information. Performance reporting, case studies and programme impact reporting.
Procurement Information
Cadent is collaborating with Northern Gas Networks under a shared Warm Homes Network model to support the delivery of Vulnerability and Carbon Monoxide Allowance (VCMA) objectives. The appointment of Yorkshire Energy Services CIC t/a YES Energy Solutions enables continuity of delivery within an established referral ecosystem and provides specialist energy efficiency support to vulnerable households. The arrangement forms part of a wider collaborative programme designed to maximise customer outcomes through integrated support services, referrals and coordinated delivery across participating Gas Distribution Networks. The contract supports the objectives set out within Ofgem's VCMA Governance Framework to assist customers in vulnerable circumstances and improve carbon monoxide safety awareness.
