Summary of the contracting process

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust intends to procure voluntary, community and social enterprise services for a Neighbourhood Mental Health Centre serving Westminster residents. The service will provide a visible, welcoming and accessible local mental health hub. Its purpose is to bring care closer to home, strengthen prevention and early intervention, improve continuity of care, and integrate mental health services with primary care, local authority services and community organisations. The work covers community health, counselling, guidance and community action services. Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust is managing the procurement through North West London Procurement Services, which supports NHS trusts within the North West London Integrated Care System. Delivery is in Westminster, London.

This is a planned procurement at the market-engagement stage; it is not yet an invitation to tender. The buyer expects to use an above-threshold open procedure under the light-touch regime. The estimated value is £800,000 including gross value, for one planned lot. Market engagement is scheduled to be completed quickly, with expressions of interest requested by 21 August 2026. The buyer expects the next notice on 12 October 2026, enquiries to close on 28 October 2026 and tender submissions to close on 12 November 2026 at 12 noon. The expected award decision date is 4 January 2027. The anticipated contract period is 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2030, with a possible extension to 31 March 2032.
