Milton Keynes City Council is exploring an accommodation-based support service for adults experiencing homelessness, housing instability and multiple disadvantage in Milton Keynes. The planned service would provide an integrated pathway combining accommodation, housing management, intensive person-centred support, progression planning, move-on into settled housing and tenancy sustainment. The Council wishes to better understand the market's ability to move beyond traditional accommodation provision or stand-alone support services to inform the future development of a model where accommodation, support and progression are designed and delivered as a single, integrated pathway. The Council considers accommodation to be a key intervention in achieving improved outcomes rather than simply the setting in which support is delivered.
