The Trust is seeking one or more reliable, experienced energy suppliers able to provide the products and associated operational support. The scope includes competitive supply, high-quality account management, accurate billing, proactive risk management and support for the Trust’s environmental and operational objectives. Ginger Energy is managing the procurement on behalf of the Trust. Questions were due by 10 September 2026 at 16:00, and offers were due by 14 September 2026 at 16:00. The initial contract period is 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2029, with an extension option allowing a maximum overall term to 30 September 2030. The estimated value is £2,467,000 excluding VAT, or £2,960,400 including VAT, for one lot. Evaluation is based on price at 40%, service and operation at 30%, and product and operational processes at 30%. Suppliers must be registered with Ofgem and hold a valid GB Supply Licence.

This opportunity suits Ofgem-registered electricity suppliers holding a valid GB Supply Licence, including small and medium-sized enterprises and voluntary, community or social enterprises. Strong candidates will be able to manage a multi-site customer portfolio with different consumption patterns and accommodate additional sites. They will need reliable, responsive service operations, scalable processes and effective contract-wide account management. Capability in accurate, auditable billing is important, including clear unit rates, standing charges and other fees. Suppliers should also demonstrate robust risk management, regulatory compliance, efficiency, value for money and a proactive approach to sustainability. The procurement particularly suits businesses experienced in fixed-price electricity supply and supporting public-sector customers.
